Capturing / Adding Leads to Second Door

The Second Door Lead Dashboard serves as a central command center for managing all incoming patient opportunities. Leads can enter Second Door from multiple sources, allowing your team to track and manage every opportunity in one place.

How Leads Get Into Second Door

Leads can be added to the Lead Dashboard in four primary ways:

1. Web Leads (Automatic)

Leads generated through Second Door built websites are automatically captured and added to the Lead Dashboard. These leads require no manual entry and are immediately available for follow-up and tracking.

2. Fax Referrals (Automatic)

Second Door integrates directly with your fax system to capture referral faxes. When a faxed referral is received, it is automatically created as a lead in Second Door so it can be reviewed, worked, and managed directly within the application.

3. Phone Leads (Manual Entry)

Phone inquiries can be added manually using the New Lead button on the Lead Dashboard.

Manually entering phone leads allows your team to:

  • Track follow-up efforts
  • Measure conversion performance
  • Manage phone inquiries alongside all other lead sources
4. Walk-In Leads (Manual Entry)
Walk-in patient inquiries can also be manually added using the New Lead button. This ensures in-person opportunities are included in reporting and managed consistently with web, fax, and phone leads.
